摘要

Indonesia has faced devastating natural calamities such as tsunami, intermittent earthquakes, etc. in recent years. The most affected area is Western Sumatra. Padang is arnbeautiful city of this state where the University of Andalas is situated amidst enchanting natural surroundings. Professor Dayar Arbain left no stone unturned to build up the Pharmacy Department of this University to an upgraded international research centre with all modern infrastructural and instrumental facilities.
