The present communication reports the occurrence of Aceria guerreronis Keifer, an eriophyid mite in South 24 Parganas District of West Bengal causing severe damage to the nuts and also reports 8 other mites belonging to 6 families and 4 orders, found associated with perianth mite, of which 2 form new reports from the world in this habitat and majority of those form new reports from West Bengal associated with perianth mite. Symptoms of damage for the perianth mite and nature of association of other mites are also discussed.
