In this article the author presents an overview of several approaches taken so far regarding the biotherapy of cancer. Although still now it is not widely accepted as a therapeutic modality.it appears to have a role to play as an adjunct therapy. This view is gaining more ground day by day. The author has found some relevance of the biotherapy with that of the "Stress Resistance Supergene Family". If an inducer can activate this, the host gets the benefit of various expressed products, which offers protection against "Cancer-induced stress" in the body of the host.rnExperimental support regarding this hypothesis is presented.
