The concept of Rough Set theory, a component of Soft Computing technique, Is introduced in the current paper to recognize the consequences of the surface parameters due to the occurrence of those thunderstorms of pre-monsoon season over northeastern part of India, which are accompanied with strong horizontal wlnd of speed 50 km / h or more.rnThe results reveal that due to the genesis of such thundestorms, most favorable consequence Is the drop in surface temperature where as the least favorable consequence being the increase in surface relative humidity. The necessity of rise in surface pressure falls In between the said consequences.
