摘要

In this paper, we have discussed three models used to describe tumor growth. The models are defined as solution of logistic, Verhulst arid Gompertz model (2.1) is based on proliferation and decay rate of tumor cells. If the difference of proliferation and decay rate of tumor cells is positive tumor grows exponentially, if it is negative, it decays exponentially and if it is zero it remains constant. There is a point of inflexion in the tumor growth curve when half of the tumor size is reached. Models (2.2) and (2.3) predict that the tumor reaches a limiting size as time becomes large.
