In this research paper we discuss the properties of theory of relativity in modem context. We prove that the lorentz transformations can be derived exclusively on the basis of mechanics and the principle of relativity contained in it. We also determine the simultaneity without light singnals. The direct derivation of lorentz transformation also been discussed.
