This paper deals with the cost analysis on a deterministic single item fuzzy inventory model. The model is solved by fuzzy non-linear programming method using Lagrange multipliers. An application of this model to manpower planning is given with a numerical example. The variations of the results with those of the crisp model have been pointed out and the sensitivity analysis is also made.
