摘要

Conducting polymer composite of polypyrrole / Titanium oxide (ppy / TiO_2) were prepared by in situ polymerization of polypyrrole with TiO_2 by chemical oxidative method using ferric chloride as an oxidant. The organic inorganic hybrid materials polypyrrole/TiO_2 with different TiO_2 weight percents {Ppy/TiO_2 (10%), ppy /TiO_2 (15%), ppy/TiO_2 (20%), ppy/TiO_2 (25%), ppy/TiO_2 (30%)} were prepared and the DC conductivity study of materials was carried out at different operating temperatures from 30 - 70℃. It was found that ppy/TiO_2 materials had a better conductivity. The composites were characterized using SEM to investigate the influence of the feed concentration of TiO_2 on the morphology of the polymer and also characterized by employing XRD to study the crystallinity of the composites. Infra red spectroscopy confirmed formation of nano composites of polypyrrole-TiO_2 by observation of TiO_2 bands in the spectra.
