摘要

CdS thin films were deposited by spray pyrolysis technique on glass substrate of different thicknesses. Deposited films were annealed in air from 100℃ from two to five hours. The XRD studies revealed that the cadmium chloride and NH_2-CS-NH_2 (Thiourea) of 0.01 M concentration. The reaction mechanisms involve the films were polycrystalline in nature and with hexagonal phase. The source of Cd and S are Cadmium chloride and NH_2-CS-NH_2. preheated glass substrate by Cd~(2+) and S~- in an solution. The crysternality of the films was improved by annealing in air at 100℃. The CdS shows the direct band gap 2.4 eV and indirect bandgap 2.35 eV. The optical transmittances, reflectances and absorption of annealed CdS thin films are studied and found to be different thickness have the same maximum transmitter intensity at same wavelength and the refractive index varies from 2.15 to 2.85 and the electrical resistivity of different thickness in measured have found to be changed. And this result is useful for low cost photosensor devices application.
