Time and resources can significantly limit the scientific development of life-changing products. But thanks to the Internet, there are ways to speed the research process and bring new products to market faster. Among them: Rapid data-sharing—Old-fashioned data-sharing techniques (mail and telephone) can't compete with electronically shared data. This provides scientists with more accurate and less cumbersome methods of data transfer. Data is exchanged in real-time, globally, to significantly increase the speed of research.
