It is widely known that the recent growth of emerging economies is steadily expanding the world market for industrial machinery. Meanwhile, there is growing demand for hydraulic, wind and other natural power sources in the energy industry. As a result of these market trends, machinery manufacturers are increasingly forced to use difficult-to-cut components such as cast iron/steel housings and blades. Accordingly, manufacturers of these components are required to reduce their machining costs by streamlining the manufacturing process.
