A hot jacket remover is a fiber preparation tool which enables to remove the coating of ribbon fibers easily by softening it with heat.rnRibbon fiber splicing has rapidly increased mainly in developing countries where the construction of fiber optic networks is growing. Operators have strongly desired a handy tool that can achieve smooth operation in a harsh environment.rnBased on such desire, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. Has developed the new hot jacket remover JR-6 which features ease of use and excellent environmental characteristics.
