Professor Simon Litsyn, Doron Solomon and Gilad Garon founded ASOCS in June 2003 to develop "a configurable baseband ASIC design aimed at delivering a single solution, for supporting myriad wireless technologies and standards including GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA and WLAN." ASOC secured angel funding in June 2003 and has been bridge funded since the end of 2004. The company has raised just shy of $1M to date and is in the process of raising $8M in Series A funding. Breakeven is anticipated in 2H'07. The company has 8 employees.
