The future of any shipyard lies in the hand of today's price levels, which has been shown over the years with many pulling out of the shiprepair market as cheaper prices still dominate shipowners' thoughts. Polish shipyards currently pose the largest threat to any north European shipyard competing in this market. Price levels in Poland are currently 25% lower than the more traditional shiprepair nations.
