Paul Cofoni, president and chief executive officer of CACIrnInternational Incorporated, has been elected to lead AFCEA International as its chairman of the Board of Directors. He succeeds Duane P. Andrews, chief executive officer of QinetiQ North America.rnCofoni has been a long-time AFCEA member and has served on the Executive Committee and boardrnfor five years. Cofoni's duties as chairman include heading the Executive and Compensation committees as well as participating on the Educational Foundation's board of directors. Cofoni has more than 30 years of senior-level executive experience in business development, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and federal market operations. Part of his duties as president and chief executive officer at CACI includes executing its strategy to align its core competencies, innovative tools and best-value solutions to support the U.S.rngovernment. Cofoni's professional experience includes large-scale integrator contracts in the broad federal market sector; the defense, intelligence and communications markets; and major commercial outsourcing and systems markets.
