On November 28, 2006, the Educational Foundation lifted a page from AFCEA International's successful playbook by launching a volunteer-led and -driven Education Committee. It joins AFCEA's six other standing committees—Membership, Intelligence, Strategic Development, Technology, Small Business and Audit. These committees' members are active professionals who volunteer their time and intellectual energy to make AFCEA the vital information technology professional organization it is today.
