摘要

Jan Angstrom is a researcher at the Swedish National Defence College. He holds a PhD from the Department of War Studies, King's College, London. His research interests include the nature and conduct of modern war as well as the development of strategic thought. He has published articles in several journals, among others, Civil Wars, Security Studies, Studies of Conflict and Terrorism, and European Political Science. He is also the co-editor (with Isabelle Duyvesteyn) of Rethinking the Nature of War (Frank Cass, 2005) and Understanding Victory and Defeat in Contemporary War (Routledge, 2007). He has co-authored a textbook on military theory in Swedish, Militdrteorins grander (2005).
