Two European pension funds with $2 trillion of assets under management have urged 55 large companies across multiple sectors to align their corporate lobbying strategies, and those of their trade associations, to reflect the companies’ publicly stated support for the Paris Agreement on climate change. The pension funds pledged to also propose shareholder resolutions on the topic.
