摘要

Lou Anne Barclay is a Senior Lecturer in the Management Studies Department, University of the West Indies, Mona. Her work has appeared in journals such as African Development Review, European Journal of Development Review and Oxford Development Studies. She is the author of the book Foreign Direct Investment in Emerging Economies: Corporate Strategy and Investment Behaviour in the Caribbean (Routledge). Barclay is currently engaged in a research project that seeks to examine the role that institutional efficiency plays in the success of FDI-facilitated development in the aluminium industry of selected Caribbean countries.
