A record 12,621 trade buyers and delegation groups gathered at SINO-Pack 2005 (The 12th China International Exhibition on Packaging Machinery & Materials) and China Drinktec 2005 (The 9th China International Exhibition on Beverage, Brewery and Wine Technology), the four-day exhibition, to see the latest in state of the art technology and equipment for packaging and beverages. The wide range of innovative technologies, materials and equipment exhibited, attracted not only mainland buyers but also industrial visitors from 32 countries. Trade associations in China supported the show with delegations from Hunan Shaoyang food and packaging association, packaging technology associations from Fujian, Kunming and Tianjin, and Guangdong Provincial Brewery Industry Association. Vietnam Science and Technology Association on Automation (VIET-STAA) from Vietnam also sent a delegation group to the expo for exploring business know-how and market information.
