Since the Winter Solstice, and leading up to Spring Equinox, I have been considering and contemplating whether or not there is an emotional impact to "living off-the-grid." I have been asking myself and others who live off-the-grid if they feel differently; how their experience is different; what do they notice; is there a deeper meaning to their existence; is it all worth it? And may it be known that all the people I have asked, myself incLuded, have lived both on the grid as well as off, me wanting to be as fair as possible in a comparative analysis. The main and basic underlying question being: do we become different Human Beings for having lived at least part of our Lives off-the-grid?
