How come you must be in your last two years to get your final tour of duty allowance? I have purchased my own house back in the UK because I am coming to the end of my service and want my kids and wife to have stability. I was originally told I might be able to get this move at public expense if I was to sign a waiver stating that I wouldn't claim from the Army again for removals concerning my family but I have now discovered that this is not true. If I am entitled to the move, I don't understand why I can't just have it and sign a waiver. - Cpl Michael Hulme, 3 Mercian.
