The author has carried out the process of optimization of the production of strongly and weakly basic anion-exchangers of a new type based on an asphaltite polycondensate with hexamethylenetetramine (hexamine), which are prepared by a wasteless process. Anion-exchangers with an exchange capacity of 1.78-4.50 mg-equiv.·g~(-1) exhibit good dynamic exchange capacity, high relative rate of ion-exchange and mechanical strength and can be used as technical ion-exchangers in fields where use is made of anion-exchangers AV-17-6P and AV-17-8P for preliminary purification of highly contaminated media. Adsorbents prepared from the polycondensate have an adsorption energy of 20.8-22.5 kJ/mol and a mechanical strength of 71-89%.
