摘要

The authors have studied the properties of activated and oxidized anthracites and also of some other carbonaceous materials from wood and solid fossil fuels. It is shown that they can be used for the sorption of copper, calcium and chromium ions from model mineralized water solutions and industrial sewage waters and for the selective extraction of trace amounts of copper, chromium, cobalt, nickel and other ions from natural water. It has been found that the efficiency of the samples studied is comparable with the sorption capacity of well-known commercial activated carbons (activated charcoal).
