摘要

The electronic structure of Y4Co3 has been studied based on the density functional theory within the local-density approximation. The calculation indicates that Y4Co3 is very close to ferronia netic instability. The Fermi surfaces are composed mainly of 3d electrons ofCo and 4d electrons of Y. (c) 2006 Elsevier Ltd.
