Over the last three decades, India established capability and capacity in the remote sensing space segment through the IRS constellation and a nationally orchestrated system, I.e., NNRMS to ensure operational usage of this technology and its internal- ization by the user community. A natural sequel to the successful operationalization is commercialization.
