Hamilton Sundstrand Space Systems International will continue work on NASA shuttle and space station space-suits under an $86 million, one-year contract extension. NASA announced Jan. 15 that the agency would exercise the first of five one-year options on the Extravehicular Activity Systems Contract awarded in 2004 to Hamilton Sundstrand of Windsor Locks, Conn. The one-year option takes effect in October, when the initial five-year contract expires.
