The U.S. National Geospatial-Intelli-gence Agency (NGA) has taken over its first two buildings at its new headquarters in Ft. Belvoir, Va., according to a July 15 agency press release.rnAs part of the Defense Department's Base Realignment and Closure efforts, the NGA was directed to tnove its headquarters from Bethesda, Md., and consolidate other locations to a facility called New Campus East.rnConstruction at the new campus began in 2007, and the intelligence agency is expected to complete its transition by September 2011, the release said. The Technology Center and the Central Utilities Plant are the first two buildings to be occupied by the NGA.
