A government audit has concluded that Britain generally has done a good job of translating its civil space spending into European Space Agency (ESA) contracts for the nation's industry and revenue-generating commercial ventures. But the study, conducted by Britain's National Audit Office and issued March 16, also says the group that includes the British National Space Centre (BNSC) and its eclectic group of funding agencies needs to streamline its decision-making process and improve its risk-assessment skills.
