Falls Church, Va.-based DynCorp International LLC beat incumbent and former parent company Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) to win a NASA aircraft maintenance and operations support contract potentially worth $176.9 million over five years, NASA announced April 18. Under the contract, which has a 16-month base period worth $46.6 million, DynCorp International will support NASA aircraft operations at Johnson Space Center in Houston and Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va., as well as other NASA facilities in El Paso, Texas, and Edwards Air Force Base, Calif. DynCorp International's major subcontractor is GeoControl Systems of Houston.
