British aerospace and defense contractor Cobham announced July 17 that its recent Danish acquisition, Thrane & Thrane, has been awarded the satellite communication component of an upgrade for 200 U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft in a deal expected to exceed 150 million Danish krone ($26 million). The upgrade will use the Aviator 700D product, which can be tailored to suit any commercial or military aircraft and mission.
