Iridium Communications Chief Executive Matt Desch has been appointed to U.S. President Barack Obama's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC), the McLean, Va.-based mobile satellite services company announced May 25. Some of the other satellite telecommunications and aerospace executives serving on the panel are Intelsat General President Kay Sears; Harris Corp. Chief Executive Howard Lance; Linda Good-en, Lockheed Martin executive vice president of information systems and global solutions; and Raytheon Co. Chairman and Chief Executive William Swanson.
