In this recently published book, National Regulation of Space Activities, Canada's leading authority in space law, Ram S. Jakhu, Professor and Director of Canada's space law program at McGill University, has brought together a select group of space law experts - twenty four in all - to produce a comprehensive study of the systems in place for authorising space activities across a range of fifteen select countries that are active in the space sector. Published in 2010, the book made a timely appearance on the market in the run-up to this year's 50th anniversary celebrations on human spaceflight The work sets out to provide a state of the art guide to how space activities are regulated, with an insight into the licensing systems and procedure at national level in the countries selected.
