Following her 2007 Space as a Strategic Asset, this more recent book is focused on "how our approach to space over the past two decades has squandered a once huge reservoir of goodwill toward American efforts in space" (p xii).rnFirst, with its strong attack on loose language, it comes as a surprise that the term "America" is often used in the book (including the title) when in fact the term should be the "United States of America" or USA.
