摘要

Although the protection of the environment is also particularly relevant to outer space activities, there has been surprisingly little literature on this subject so far. This is to a certain extent logical because the international community only started to become aware of environmental problems in the 1970s. And in the 1970s a good part of the international space legislation had already been written. All international space legislation - at least in its most important treaty nature - had been drafted and written between 1967 and 1979 while the famous Stockholm conference on human environment of 1972 broke the ice in terms of screening international relations. This was the milestone in terms of establishing an international environmental law.
