摘要

The paper presents results of re-entry of the X-38 vehicle simulated by the nonequilibrium Navier-Stokes algorithm URANUS in its parallel-multiblock (P-MB) version at three points along a re-entry trajectory. Surface temperature uncertainties due to catalytic effects are predicted for the real thermal protection system (TPS) with a global catalysis model. Temperature distributions of the conjunction zones at the nose cap and the body flap are analysed in detail.
