Humans in civilisations far older than ours observed the universe. Fundamental questions of modern and ancient philosophy about our being, creation, Lethics and science are directly and indirectly related to the universe. Many questions about its existence and exploration are still to be fully answered. In the modern era of technology and artificial intelligence, the philosophical perspective on the universe is changing, and in the past 70 years we have progressed substantially in our understanding of it. The future of humanity is set upon the stars, in a real way. The sound produced when humanity landed on the moon has reached solar systems far beyond ours. Perhaps in a billion years it will arrive at distant galaxies, coming close to stars with exoplanets.
