摘要

The new installment in The Universe Series covers the geysers of Enceladus; the rings of Saturn; Jupiter's Great Red Spot; the Asteroid Be Olympus Mons on Mars; the surface of the Sun; and planet Earth. This format offers the option for 3D viewing but is equally suited to Blu-ray. The disc both entertains and educates, and is recommended viewing for science students in schools and colleges. The background music is on occasion both intrusive and distracting, and I'm not convinced that touring the wonders of the Solar System in a fictional spaceship enhances the content.
