Sir, I am an amateur scientist and do not yet possess the experience and qualifications to be comfortable in preparing a formal paper for a journal but feel comfortable in expressing my idea in a letter.rnI have recently developed a theory I believe may explain what Dark Energy is and where it comes from. I call my idea The Atomic Emission Theory (TAET)' and I would welcome any feedback, both positive and constructive.rnBriefly, Dark Energy (DE) are the emissions produced as a waste product from all atoms. Like a car engine running and producing waste emissions, so does the atom. So we can view the atom as a kind of micro engine - an Atomic Engine (AE).
