Dieser Beitrag stellt eine neue Methode zur Verteilung von Schmelze auf dem Band einer horizontalen, einseitigen Bandgießmaschine vor. Mit Wasser und Zinnschmelze Hessen sich die Strömungsbedingungen in der Speiserzone des Förderbandes studieren. Versuche mit einer im Schrifttum beschriebenen Methode zur Schmelzenverteilung wurden durchgeführt. Im Vergleich dazu wurde ein neues Verfahren, bei dem mehrere, parallel angeordnete Gießstrahlen stabile Speiserbedingungen gewährleisten, ausprobiert. Hierbei läßt sich ein kontinuierlicher Schmelzenfilm als auch ein stabiler Meniskus aufrechterhalten. Auch das Gefrierproblem mit dem Triplepunkt läßt sich mit dieser Methode ausschalten.%This paper presents a new method for metal distribution onto the belt of a horizontal single belt strip caster. Water and liquid tin have been used to study the flow conditions in the feeding zone on the conveyor belt. Tests of a method presented in literature for metal distribution have been conducted and a new method that uses multiple parallel jets in order to obtain stable feeding conditions have been tested. This method gives a controlled way of maintaining a continuous liquid film and it also has a stable meniscus. The freezing problem with a triple point will also be eliminated by use of this method.
