摘要

The paper is devoted to the problem of a continuous assessment of fatigue reliability of structures under operation with a random nature of loading. A model has been developed which enables real-time computation of the following characteristics needed for assessment of the structure service in view of fatigue: 1. the fatigue damage value in probabilistic interpretation; - the probability of premature fatigue failure occurrence regarding the requirement on service life of the structure and probability survival of this requirement; - the probability survival in regard to the current time of the structure service; - remaining fatigue life; - the parameters enabling to assess the change of fatigue life of the structure in consequence of a non-standard load situation occurrence. The methodology proposed serves as the basis for elaboration of a computer program providing continuous monitoring of the mechanical structure operation with the aim: 1. early indication of a forthcoming dangerous state of the structure in view of fatigue damage in order to prevent the breakdown of the equipment, and 2. to optimize the costs needed to provide a reliable structure operation.
