Fixings specialist fischer has two special systems for the post-installation of reinforcing bars and threaded anchors in hardened concrete, giving structural engineers new loading options. Moreover, the work of achieving a professional connection with starter bars on site is made much easier for accredited contractors. The two systems available from fischer turn the work of installing reinforcing bars in hardened concrete into routine work. Holes as deep as 2 m are cleaned out and then filled with fischer injection resin before inserting the rebar. Once the resin has cured, the starter bars can be treated and loaded just like normal cast-in reinforcing bars.
