This slim volume is a timely contribution to the current debates in Asia on a rapidly emerging regionalism. The editors and contributors are an interesting mixture of distinguished scholars, graduate students and policy practitioners. In the book's introduction, the editors point out that a rising East Asia displays an 'organization gap', or an absence of formal and multilateral organisations to reflect regional trends towards economic interdependence.
