摘要

In addition to the various mobile examinations performed outside radiology departments, a fundamental role of the radiographer relates to the undertaking of mobile screening procedures. Such environments include theatre and coronary care units, where a range of examinations may be undertaken and the radiographer has the responsibility of producing optimal images at the lowest possible dose. Over the last few years, mobile image intensification equipment has began to adopt the digital features normally associated with general x-ray rooms and there is a need to ensure such features are employed appropriately during procedures.
