The ongoing data boom continues to present a challenge to government agencies, particularly on the state and local level. State and local agencies express interest in leveraging data to improve decision making and meet mission objectives, but struggle to process and analyze the data, according to a new study. Despite the known advantages of big data, few state and local agencies are taking action to harness and analyze it.
