Portable storage devices enable anyone to remove sensitive information - such as patient data, sales databases, legal documents or financial records from any computer - quickly, easily, and without detection. However, the proliferation of these devices presents a major security threat and compliance issue for all organizations today. In Fact, according to the 2006 CSI/FBI Computer Crime and Security Survey, the top three concerns of the information security professionals surveyed were data protection, policy and regulatory compliance, and leakage of proprietary information.
