Q l am planning on using open-cell spray foam to insulate the roof of a new house. The framer told me today that even with the spray insulation, we would still be venting the ridge and soffits. Are we making a mistake that will jeopardize the integrity of the insulation? I was under the impression that the attic would be sealed.
