New technologies have made it easier for libraries to make collections accessible using a more-product-less-process (MPLP) model. Librarians at Bowling Green State University's Bill Schurk Sound Archives have been using this model to create brief bibliographic records for LP and 45-RPM collections with the help of student staff, Excel spreadsheets, MARCEdit, and the Innovative ILS-Sierra Data Exchange. This article outlines the rationale for using such a method and the process behind making these collections accessible.
