Andritz Group is to acquire LM Industries -comprising Laroche SA and Miltec SA -through a transaction that is expected to close at the start of 2021. Laroche of Cours, France, is a supplier of systems for such as opening, blending and dosing, airlay web forming, the recycling of textile waste and the decortication of bast fibres. Andritz Group of Graz, Austria, says that with the acquisition of the French company, it will be able to sell products and technologies for use along the entire length of the value chain for the production of nonwovens, from the raw materials, to opening and blending, web forming, bonding, finishing, drying and converting.
