A flexible, breathable and durable large-area textile display has been developed by researchers at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.Measuring 6 m in length and 25 cm in width, the cotton-based textile contains 500 000 electroluminescent units -Measuring 6 m in length and 25 cm in width, the cotton-based textile developed at Fudan University contains 500 000 electroluminescent units.created at the contact points between electrically conductive weft fibres and luminescent warp fibres - spaced approximately 800 urn apart.
